OnePlus Brand Ambassador Robert Downey Jr. Caught Using Huawei P30 Pro

Much-loved Marvel hero and OnePlus ambassador Robert Downey Jr. was spotted posting about OnePlus 7. He posted on his Weibo page using Huawei’s flagship P30 Pro smartphone.

On 30th July, Robert Downey posted a Weibo using Huawei 30 Pro rather that OnePlus 7. Although the post was later removed from his Weibo profile. But some of the users captured that post before it was erased. It is hardly the first time a brand ambassador of one company was found to use the phone made by another company. Earlier Samsung’s Nigeria unit was found tweeting about Galaxy Note 9 using an iPhone.

“We, at OnePlus believe in having a laser focus in everything, we do whatever it takes to create an exceptional experience. Working with Robert Downey Jr, we see that these ideologies are reflected in him as well, in his creativity and dedication.” Pete Lau, Founder and CEO of OnePlus, had said at the time. “This synergy has us convinced that nobody could represent what we stand for better. We are also delighted to welcome Robert Downey Jr. into the OnePlus family.”

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display panel. It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 855 SoC. The phone is paired with three RAM and storage configurations that max out at 12GB/256GB. It comes with a “RAM Boost” mode that allows apps to load from RAM memory instead of ROM. It is also the first smartphone to ship with UFS 3.0 memory which offers speeds up to 79% faster.
