Sound Amplifier by Google Now Works With Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Above

Sound amplifier by google is now available for smartphones running android 6.0 Marshmallow and above. This sound amplifier enhances the volume and clarity of the sound and is aimed at people with partial hearing impairment. Earlier this app was only available for devices running 9.0 Pie at launch. But now this app will be available for a wider range of phones.

Here’s how it works. When you plug in your headphones and use Sound Amplifier, you can customize frequencies to augment important sound. Like the voices of the people you are with, and filter out background noise. It can help you hear conversations in noisy restaurants more clearly. You can also amplify the sound coming from TV at personalized frequency levels without bothering others. It can be also used to boost the voices of presenters at a lecture.

To make sure that Sound Amplifier is working properly, Google has added an audio visualization feature. It pulsates when sound is detected. You can easily boost the sound by adjusting the sliders. Sound Amplifier is listed free and is available to download  from the Google Play Store.
