HMD Global is hosting an event on 6 June, regarding the launch of new Nokia Phone. Before the event a Night Mode like feature is rumoured to be baked into the Nokia Camera app, similar to that of Samsung’s Night Mode and Google’s Night Sight feature.
Nokia is rolling many teasers on various sites. The latest teaser hints at a dedicated Night Mode that could amplify low-light photography. The event could alternatively also see the launch of a phone as well on 6 June.
The official Nokia Mobile Twitter handle has released a teaser showing a rear camera lens. Further, the tweet says, “See things in a new light on 06 June 2019. Stay tuned to #GetAhead in life.” This hints at the possibility of a dedicated Night Mode feature launch at the event next week.
In case the company launches something like this being a software, we can expect it to be rolled out to other existing Nokia devices through OTA updates. However, there is no clarity on which model will be getting this low-light mode or if there will be just one new device with the low-light feature. All eyes would be on the June 6 event in India for detailed & other announcements.
The company could show off a new phone flaunting the new Night Mode. It has been rumoured to launch the Nokia 2.2 or the Nokia Wasp at the event. There are also some rumours that we may witness the Nokia X71 which may get launched as Nokia 6.2
Earlier the phone Nokia 2.2 has been spotted on US FCC certification. The certification has revealed that the phone may come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage configuration. It is said to have 145.96×70.56 dimensions as well.
